About AUTC

Touch (Football or Rugby) is a minimal contact sport ideally suited for getting exercise and social interaction into a hectic time schedule. The Adelaide University Touch Club is the largest Touch (or Touch Football) club in South Australia, catering for Adelaide University students and non-students at all levels of experience and ability from complete beginners to players who compete at the National Touch League. If you are interested in joining the club, or have a few questions, please email secretary(at)autouch.org.au. During Summer, trainings are usually held less frequently. We welcome interested persons to join the club - it is probable that we can find a suitable team for you to join.

Parking is available a short walk away from either of the training areas we use in Summer or Winter. Depending on numbers, training will usually comprise of some form of squad training (beginner, intermediate, advanced), some game sense activity, small or regular sized games and skill/agility drills. All club members and potential members are welcome to come out to training. During the Winter season we welcome all current and potential members to come out to training at 10:30 am every Sunday Morning at Park 10, which is situated north of the North Tce campus, over the University footbridge. A map can be found here.

The Adelaide University Touch Club is the largest Touch (or Touch Football) club in South Australia, catering for Adelaide University students and non-students at all levels of experience and ability from complete beginners to players who compete at the National Touch League. Our players come from a wide range of social and cultural backgrounds and due to the minimal contact nature of Touch also have a relatively wide age profile.

The club enters teams in both Summer and Winter City Touch Men's and Women's competitions, as well as the City Touch Winter Thursday Mixed competition. During the Summer season, our club runs it's own Mixed competition consisting of our own and external teams at the Waite Sports Fields.
