The two AdelaideUni Touch Club mixed a grade teams played off in the city touch club grand final in the first week of october 2008.
Under the new day light saving conditions, the cougas, many of whom had just come back from uni games were up against the more experianced and top of the ladder chetas in a game playing for the "laminated certificate" trophy for eventual a grade champions.
The chetas shot to and early lead with a couple of early touch downs and the game stayed that way for most of the half.
The cougars decided that the University Sports slogan of "Pride. Passion. Sport" would carry them through the secod half. Alas they were wrong. although the cougars pushed hard for the second half and actually scored more than the chetas in the second half, they never really got on top, and a few tired too many tired and injured bodies was just not quite adequate to compete with a well disciplined and coordinated team the chetas.
