Beach Touch 2010

Nominate for Beach Touch now!

This year’s date has fallen on Valentine’s Day and we thought what better way to celebrate all things warm and pink than by fundraising for The Heart Foundation*? On top of all usual fun there will be a raffle and other ways to win cool stuff. So grab yourself a team of energetic beach lovers and head down to:

Henley Beach, just south of the jetty on Sunday February 14 @ 9am.

We expect the day will be wrapped up at about 12:30pm, just in time for lunch!

Women’s teams will play 2v3, men’s teams will play 3v4. You’ll want at least 6 players in a team – running on sand is tiring!

The winning men's and women's teams will each receive $200 prize money. The team voted Best Dressed on the day will have their playing fee refunded.

Entry cost is $120 per team.

Each team must nominate a referee in order to play (need not have a referee qualification, just needs to read the rules before the tournament). The referee can be a playing member of the team, or a non-playing friend/relative of the team. If this becomes a substantial issue, please contact us and we can try and find someone to help you out.

Each team must nominate a captain who will need to rock up by 8:45am for a pre-tournament briefing.
