Currently we are not training as a club, however we are playing touch in single sex competitions on tuesday nights and mixed competitions on thursday nights. Our mixed teams are pretty full at the moment, but there is still space to play with us in our mens and womens teams. Head to our contact page and send us your information, we would love to try and accomodate you.

SA High Performance Camp - Announcement of attendees

From the Touch SA website: Touch SA is very please to announce the interstate players & coaches that will be attending the Mitchell Cup High Performance Camp from the 25th - 27th May 2007. Tony Eltakchi- Tony I am sure you know, Mr Mixed himself from Mets in NSW, played Mixed open for Australia for a number of years, promising coach. Unbelievably funny and will be the life of the party wherever it is. Jason Stanton- Australian Mens Open player from Mets in NSW, very astute student of the game, specializes in the kiwi style of game however has the ability to change and play the long ball game, has been Drumayne Dayberg-Muir's partner in crime for quite a while now and they are awesome in tandem.

SA High Performance Camp

A notice from TFA-SA: Due to the availability of interstate guests, please be advised the Mitchell Cup High Performance Camp will now be held from the 25th - 27th May 2007. Could you please confirm your availability and interest in attending the camp (ph: (08) 8306 7500, email admin(at)touchsa.com.au)? This is a fantastic opportunity and is a vital part of the selection process for the 07/08 state opens program. At this stage the camp is looking very exciting with several Australian Representatives from interstate about to be confirmed. The names of these players will be announced over the coming days. The cost of the Mitchell Cup High Performance Camp is $65 due 16th May 2007. Early bird registration fee - $55 - Closes Friday 27th April 2007.

State Coaching Mentoring scheme

from the Touch SA website : State Coaching Mentor Scheme This scheme is designed to link our leading coaches with current members of the Australian High Performance Program to enable them the opportunity in gaining skills and experience that will flow down to our players. The Scheme is partly funded by the Office of Recreation and Sport through the Coaching and Officiating Centre and includes the following aspects; Linking key SA coaches to Australian Coaches * Developing communication and mentoring streams with each party * Introducing a Coaching Forum to be held annually in SA where members of the mentoring Scheme will present to attendees The Mentoring Scheme is open to 4 coaches, 2 of which will be chosen to travel and attend trainings/competition with their mentor coach. TFSA is also looking to integrate other coaches into the program by combining aspects into the High Performance Camp.
